Libertylle c'est un joli pseudo pour une blogueuse passionnée de couture...

Je m'appelle Cécile et effectivement j'ai toujours aimé le Liberty®. Lorsque j'ai ouvert mon blog, je voulais trouver un nom qui fasse référence à la couture. J'avais envie d'un nom de blog qui finisse par ille, c'est ma fille qui a trouvé : l’aventure Libertylle a commencé.

La couture a toujours été ton métier ?

Non, j'ai fait des études médicales, je suis dentiste. J'ai très peu exercé mon métier car nous avons déménagé dans une région où nous ne connaissions personne. Avec trois enfants et un mari très pris professionnellement, il était difficile d'exercer une activité à l'extérieur. J'ai choisi de m'occuper d'eux après la naissance de mon deuxième fils, et ce n'est que lorsqu'ils sont devenus grands que j'ai eu envie d'ouvrir un blog.

Tu étais toi-même lectrice de blogs ?

Ma nièce tenait un blog "id Chic" auquel j’étais abonnée, je n’étais alors pas du tout active sur les réseaux sociaux. C'est elle qui m'a conseillé de me lancer. J'ai ouvert mon blog en 2011 avec des petites choses toutes simples comme des bavoirs.

Et ta nièce a toujours un blog ?

Oui mais elle en a ouvert un autre qui s'appelle "Milk and Grey" où elle nous offre des instants choisis à travers de jolies photos. Elle m'a montré comment faire. Je suis partie de zéro et c'est avec elle que j'ai écrit mon premier billet. Elle était sur blogger, j'y suis allée aussi, avant de migrer sur wordpress il y a quelques semaines.

Pour en revenir à tes activités créatives, c'est quelque chose que tu avais appris lorsque tu étais enfant ?

Je couds depuis toute petite. Pour le crochet, c'est ma grand-mère qui m'a appris lorsque j'avais une dizaine d'années. Je me suis remise au tricot il y a peu, toutes ces jolies créations sur la blogosphère m’ont donné envie !

C'est elle qui t'a transmis le goût du fait-main ?

Oui, je crois. Et je jouais à la poupée plus pour le plaisir de leur créer des vêtements que pour la poupée en elle-même.

Donc, comme beaucoup d'entre nous, les blogs t'ont donné envie de faire plus...

Oui, j'y ai très vite pris goût. Pour mon propre blog, j'ai eu assez rapidement des retours positifs et mon lectorat s'est étoffé petit à petit. J'ai concouru pour le blog créatif de Marie-Claire idées et j'ai été élue en janvier 2012. La mayonnaise avait pris.

C'est ce qui t'a donné envie d'ouvrir une boutique virtuelle ?

Oui, mais pour l'instant je l'alimente peu, le temps me manque. En dehors du blog qui a pris beaucoup de place, je travaille à temps partiel pour une revue scientifique. Je travaille aussi actuellement sur d'autres projets liés la couture qui m’occupent énormément.

Comme quoi par exemple ?

Au printemps dernier j'avais été contactée par la maison Liberty® of London pour travailler sur leur nouvelle collection de tissus pour le patchwork. Cette année, j'ai été invitée à nouveau pour écrire un billet sur leur blog (en anglais cette fois car mon interlocutrice qui était française est partie ailleurs). C’est un véritable challenge pour moi.

Tu as fait quoi ?

J'ai imaginé une montgolfière pour mon futur petit-fils ou ma future petite-fille (Cécile sera bientôt grand-mère, ndlr). La nacelle est crochetée en ficelle de lin et le ballon est un patchwork de quatre tissus assortis.

Tu m'as dit que tu avais appris à coudre étant petite, mais par la suite tu as pris des cours ?

Non, j'ai voulu m'inscrire à des cours proposés par la MJC de ma ville. Je n'y suis allée qu'une fois. J'ai très vite vu que je savais déjà faire ce que l'on nous apprenait. J'ai progressé énormément depuis mon blog. Je me lance des défis et j'y arrive.

Tu as rencontré d'autres blogueuses de ta région ?

Oui, on a un petit groupe et on se réunit toutes les trois semaines environ dans une brasserie située à deux pas de la mercerie de Nancy, la Bricolerie, tenue par Elise. Lors de ces rencontres, j'y fais plus de crochet que de tricot car cela demande moins de concentration. Cette boutique est un peu notre lieu de perdition... Elise y vend des marques que nous aimons particulièrement comme France Duval Stalla ou Liberty®. On a envie de l'encourager.

Ta famille est sensible à cette passion qui te vaut déjà une reconnaissance ?

Oui, ils sont contents. Ils sont assez surpris parfois. C'est vraiment une reconversion par rapport à ce que je faisais avant et ils ne s'attendaient pas à ce que cela devienne aussi important. Lorsque j'ai un article qui parle de moi ou de mes créations, je leur envoie et ils sont heureux pour moi.

Des idées pour aujourd'hui et pour deux mains ?

Je fais des choses pour "mini bout" le bébé qui va naître chez mon fils aîné. J'ai cousu des sorties de bain et un petit tapis à langer.

Et si comme toutes les fées des contes tu avais un super pouvoir, ce serait ?

Que l'on me donne la fibre informatique !
